The Check-in on Friday will run from 8.00pm to 11.30 pm.  Any teams later
than this will have to make their way to the base camp for Saturday morning.

This MPC will have a standing camp.  Day packs will be used on Saturday. Apart from personal gear all teams will have to carry a trangia, gas, sleeping bag, sleeping mat & bivvy bag. We strongly recommend that all team members carry a bag and share gear around.

L 915 680 (Car park) [Limited Car parking] - Check in and have your gear examined.

L 911 696 (Base camp) – Follow the western way along the river to a fence with a stile. Cross the river and move up to the campsite - Lots of good sites about.

As there is a river crossing on the Friday night, be sure to have all your equipment securely wrapped in plastic and bring spare socks in case your feet get wet. If the river is flooded we will make alternative arrangements to get into base camp so follow any instructions that staff give to you.

SundayL 911 696 (Camp)
This Sunday route crosses several fences. As marked on the route outline there are specific places to cross them where there are gates or worn routes. All the fences are private property so please do not cross them other than where indicated by staff.  We rely on the good will of farmers and land owners to let us cross their land and camp on it.

L 904 687 (Spot Height 436) – Follow bearing up to spot height – the ground is quite steep so take care.

L 913 689 (End of ridge) – Follow bearing from spot height 436

L 908 687 (Gap in the fence) – Follow the fence down to a spot where you can cross over

L 914 684 (Gate at the stream) – Follow down to a gate close to the stream.

L 915 681 (Gate at road beside car park) – Follow stream down to a gate onto the road.

Well Done! Congratulations on finishing the MPC.
